UAP: The Chandelier

In January 2024, investigative journalist Jeremy Corbell released a photograph of an unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP) over the Persian Gulf, which he referred to as the "Chandelier" UAP. Captured by a military thermographic/forward-looking infrared (FLIR) camera, the image depicts a star-shaped object with a complex structure, leading to its chandelier nickname.

Corbell, known for his work in UFO journalism, discussed the image on "Elizabeth Vargas Reports," highlighting its unique heat signature and lack of visible flight control surfaces. He noted that intelligence officials were puzzled by the object's design and movement, describing it as "the most bizarre structure with no purpose and a speed that has everyone across the intelligence community just asking questions."

The release of the "Chandelier" UAP photo followed the unveiling of a video showing a "jellyfish" UAP over a U.S. military installation in Iraq in 2018, also publicized by Corbell. These disclosures have intensified discussions about UAPs and the need for transparency from government agencies. The Department of Defense's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) is currently tasked with investigating such reports.

Corbell emphasized the importance of understanding these phenomena, stating, "It's unidentified, which is very dangerous, to have something that you don't know its capability or intent. That is a big deal." He advocates for greater openness regarding UAP encounters to assess potential risks and origins.

The "Chandelier" UAP remains unexplained, with its origins and capabilities unknown. The image has sparked widespread interest and debate, underscoring the ongoing enigma of UAPs and the necessity for further investigation.
